Design Changes
This was a semester-long team project for the Serve IT internship from September to December 2021. As part of Serve IT interns, we were tasked to help Alzheimer's and Dementia Resource Service(DRS), a health organization affiliated with IU Health, add a login page and implement a page with brain teaser games for users with dementia. We delivered an accessible redesign site with a login portal, brain teaser page, site reconstruction, and updated design and navigation at the end.

Login Portal

We added a login menu to the main menu.

The password-protected Login page is on the left.
We were tasked to design and add a functional login page with a password they wanted.
Brain Teaser Game Page

We had to create a brainteaser gaming page for patients with dementia.

The Brain Teaser Game page is on the left.
Site Reconstruction

Our work included making their Brain Health Page's secondary nav bar in addition to making a login page and brain game page.

The one on the left is what the secondary nav bar looks like on the brain health page.

Users can exit any portion of the website without leaving it by using this secondary nav bar.

In addition, I redesigned a new homepage for DRS. The new homepage design has won the client's heart.
Design Changes

We also updated the color scheme and picked the right fonts for the client based on the client's preference. We showed many color schemes and fonts that look good based on their old site theme, and the DRS selected the designs on the left for their color scheme and font sections for the new website.

Final Reflection
This semester we learned new skills diving into SquareSpace, which all of us needed to gain experience. We were able to implement fully functional games into the site as well as a login page that the client loved.
